What TimeBlock Does

TimeBlock is a group meeting scheduler. You create scheduling events, share a link with participants, and everyone marks when they're available. TimeBlock finds the best overlapping times.

Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. This is used to identify you to other participants in your events.

If you choose to import your calendar, we request read-only access to your Google Calendar. We use this solely to show you which time slots conflict with existing events. We do not store your calendar events — they are fetched in real time and displayed only to you.

How We Use Your Information

  • Authentication: Your name and email identify you when you create events or submit availability.
  • Calendar import: Your calendar data is read in real time to highlight busy slots. It is never stored in our database or shared with other users.
  • Availability data: The time slots you mark as available or “maybe” are stored so other participants in the same event can see group overlap.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
  • We do not send marketing emails.
  • We do not modify your Google Calendar — access is read-only.
  • We do not store your calendar events, only the availability slots you explicitly mark.

Data Storage

Your account information and availability data are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (cloud infrastructure). OAuth tokens are stored securely to enable calendar access and are automatically refreshed.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete any event you created from your dashboard, which removes all associated availability data. You can leave any event you've participated in, which removes your availability from that event. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

Revoking Access

You can revoke TimeBlock's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions.
